Zombieland - This movie had its moments of brilliance . Woody's character was funny at first then got a little old for me as time went on . Eisenberg played his sterotypical role and had some funny lines . Two words for anyone going to see this movie ....."Double tap" . The scene w/ Bill Murray was the best in the movie bar none . These zombies were not the slow uncoordinated ones but sprinting , chase you down ones .
Life is a grindstone . Whether it grinds us down or polishes us up , depends on what we are made of .

    Re: Last movie you watched

Went to watch Dark Wing, the documentary on the Mothman that showed at Norton Cinema tonight. Some good material, a few newish things, at least to me to the story. From what I gathered, a lot of editing done to cut the thing down from over 3 hours to around 78 minutes. A few cuts, probably late ones, pointed in directions that were never really dealt with. They are planning a sequel, hopefully by next year, which will have a lot of the information I think or hope that they left out on this one. Hard to give a very fair grade as I know a couple of the people involved in the movie, but it did leave me wanting a bit more information which is what I think it is supposed to do.

    Re: Last movie you watched

A few years back there was a movie, the Mothman Prophecies, actually was a pretty good movie even though it had Richard Gere in it. It was mostly a hollywood story, based on a book, but it deals with the collapse of the Silver Bridge (i think that was the name) in 1967 and the appearance of a mothman, a figure that people started seeing. The mothman has been seen normally as a symbol of disaster or something. I think they said 40 something people died then. This is a documentary about the mothman, talks to some witnesses who saw him, discusses about the area being under a curse from an indian, and several other things. I think the town is Point Pleasant, about 3 hours from here. Lots of information out there on the net about the mothman, and several books but this was done with some local people working on it and in the production, and I went to watch it because the entire story of the mothman, it being based fairly local and some of the ones making the movie were local, figured it was a good thing to support.

Sex Drive - 9/10. Bought it the other day, loved it. It was hilarious.

Jennifers Body - 7.5/10. Went and watched it at the drive-in last night, it was better than I thought it was going to be...of course with Fox, it's going to be better

Assassination of a High School President - 7.7/10

it was straight to DVD, but I enjoyed it immensely.

It stars Mischa Barton, Bruce Willis, Michael Rappaport, and Reece Thompson

if you like darker comedy's, check it out.

    Adventureland - 8/10

Quirky, different, very good. Its a comedy, and it has funny parts, but its a really great story.
    I recommend this movie.
